Nicholas Evans
I was drawn into the road safety industry after many years sitting on the fringe, after working in engineering, mobile network installation and the motor industry. I am also a race car driver in my spare time.

I am the MD of DriveCommanderand I’ve been in this position for ten years due to an incident which my son and his mother were involved in with a HGV on the M1/M18 junction. Both of them fortunately got out with no serious injuries apart from the long lasting memories of the incident, soon after their preventable incident, a car with four teenagers from the local Danum School were killed, phone use was suspected to be a contributing factor to this terrible loss, having seen too many device users, I knew something had to be done. The incident with my son and his mother changed our lives.

Junior Sullivan
Junior is a serving Staff Sergeant and Qualified Gunnery Instructor (QGI) in the Royal Artillery, with over 15 years’ experience in training and leadership. After losing both his parents in 2021 to a distracted HGV driver, he became dedicated to educating others about the dangers of using mobile phones while driving. As a husband and father of two, he is passionate about making our roads safer for everyone. Through Driven2Distraction and the Military, he delivers awareness courses, encourages discussion and challenges policies.

Junior is committed to advocating for a culture where we all take responsibility, by not only avoiding distractions ourselves, but also challenging unsafe behaviours in others. Together, he believes we all can be the difference that makes a difference.

Ed Henderson
Ed is a former CIC Adviser for Business Link Durham & Cumbria and is an experienced business leader of many years experience. Ed has worked with many influential political and corporate leaders in bringing safety systems and initiatives to bear.

In recent years Ed has become increasingly aware of the growing problem of distracted driving, in particular with (but not limited to) young drivers

David Warrilow
David has a background of almost 30 years in IT and technology, building database systems, websites, digital media, marketing, design and systems architecture, in the UK, the US and Far East.

After being introduced to Nick Evans, David became intrinsically involved in marketing and promoting DriveCommander and now the web presence, marketing and development of online learning platform within Driven2Distraction.
